I agree with most of your comments in saying that they have excellent voice. Whitney Houston on the other hand has lost the sharpness and clarity in her voice, her new cd reflects that. At least she is to be commended for coming back and making that try. BELIEVING IN YOURSELF IS THE GREATEST GIFT IN LIFE AND LET NO ONE TAKE THAT AWAY FROM YOU.

@braro442 i don’t necessarily agree with alicia keys because although alot of her stuff sounds like mainstream pop now, Songs in A minor was one of the best albums of the decade in my opinion. her vocals may not be as strong, but they’re truer and deeper than some of the other artists that you listed. but hey, that’s just me

@Angle7587 You really get upset over Beyonce. Maybe you need some counseling or something. I like your note dropping but you should really get your facts straight. Mariah had seven up until the late 90′s then she dropped to five. I don’t think Beyonce’s squeaking counts as whistle register notes. And there is no need to name call. @bigvinamac I wasn’t bashing Beyonce. I was just stating my opinion that she can’t sing. I don’t think someone with a three octave range is very impressive. And yeah music changes but mostly just the style up until this last decade. Then it became more important to be attractive than to have talent. I was just using her as an example. But you can use different ones if you want. Rihanna can’t sing. Kesha can’t. Katy Perry can’t. etc. I like them but they’re more about appearance than music.
